The Group Finance Manager will provide overall leadership for the finance teams within this area of responsibility. The Group Finance Manager serves as the business partner to the Vice Presidents of the operating locations providing leadership and support on all matters relating to financial compliance business unit performance and decision support.
Responsibilities:
- Provide the vision and objectives for the Finance team Coach and develop staff including the development of team goals and performance measures
- Responsible for adherence to GAAP and R.R. Donnelley financial policy as documented in our Finance Policy Database (FPD)
- Oversee the US GAAP and Mexican statutory reporting
- Oversee Maquiladoras accounting and reporting
- Responsible for insuring the accuracy and adequacy of our internal controls
- Evaluate performance and provide feedback to the team on overall and individual performance
- Monitor & manage the monthly financial analysis for their facilities
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by reviewing internal processes to identify opportunities: foster acceptance of change and drive change management within the team Involved in the hiring training supervision and mentoring of their team
- Coordinate analyze and approve monthly forecasting and outlook views
- Provide direction and oversight for the annual budget and capital spending
- Review P&L and Balance Sheets for reasonableness and accuracy
- Ensure accuracy of data across multiple financial and operational systems; utilize this data to develop reporting that aids in decision-making and earnings/cash-flow improvements (e.g. working capital productivity customer analytics etc.)
- Participate in strategic projects related to business unit capacity rationalization customer contracts new business opportunities and capital management
- Assumes other responsibilities as needed or assigned by platform leadership
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance and/or CPA preferred
- 10 years of experience in accounting/operations finance in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization
- Must be able to organize/prioritize existing resources and incorporate new information as needed to implement the most effective solutions
- Strong leadership team building and interpersonal skills
- Able to communicate clearly and courteously with those who need to know of decisions/actions/problems
- Strong analytical skills required Able to apply excellent business acumen and collaborative skills when resolving problems
- Must be highly proficient with financial systems and software Self-starter with excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple projects concurrently
Additional Information :
RRDs current salary range for this role is $116500 to $186500 / year. The salary range may be adjusted
based on the applicable geographic location of the hired employee and the range may change in the
future. At RRD it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and
compensation decisions may vary based upon but not limited to education skills experience proficiency
performance shift and location. Depending on the role in addition to base salary the total compensation
package may also include participation in a bonus commission or incentive program. RRDs benefit
offerings include medical dental and vision coverage paid time off disability insurance 401(k) with
company match life insurance and other voluntary supplemental insurance coverages plus parental
