Role Purpose
As a Menzies Aviation Aircraft Cleaning Duty Manager you will be directly responsible for overseeing Aircraft Cleaning supervisors on your shift. The Aircraft Cleaning Duty Manager will take accountability for safety resource management operation standards policy implementation and client relations.
What you will be doing
- Shift Leadership & Performance: Fully accountable for health & safety operational efficiency and financial outcomes during assigned shift.
- Resource & Compliance Management: Plan resource allocation across business units and ensure adherence to internal and external operational standards.
- Employee Development & Oversight: Mentor staff conduct training per company and airline standards and address performance and conduct issues.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular liaison with internal teams external agencies and customer representatives.
- Reporting & Project Support: Produce routine reports support business development projects and complete investigations for senior management.
- Other duties as assigned.
Safety Security Wellbeing and Compliance:
You will have a responsibility and duty whilst at work to take reasonable care of the health safety and wellbeing of yourself and others in accordance with provided information training and workplace health and safety rules or procedures. The company is committed to providing a safe working environment for all staff all areas of our business there is a potential risk to the health safety and welfare to everyone on our sites through the misuse of alcohol and drugs. As such the Company prohibits such misuse and carries out regular testing to enforce our Substance Misuse Policy.
What we are looking for
- 35 years in aviation with proven management experience in airport Aircraft Cleaning and business unit oversight.
- Strong understanding of Aircraft Cleaning operations maintenance health & safety management and broader airport/commercial environments.
- Excellent time management planning and problem-solving abilities; able to stay calm under pressure and work independently.
- Advanced computer skills required for operational and reporting tasks.
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Possess and maintain valid US drivers license
- Pass all pre-employment testing including a drug screen FBI background US Customs Seal application and employment history.
- Ability to proficiently read write and speak English
- Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
