The Role

Ready to lead inspire and make an impact in a fast-paced workshop environment
Were looking for a skilled and motivated Workshop Foreman to join our dynamic Plant & Tool division. If youre passionate about machinery thrive on team leadership and want to be part of a business thats growing fastthis could be the opportunity youve been waiting for.

What Youll Be Doing
Overseeing the day-to-day running of the depot workshop and ensuring plant equipment is consistently available for hire
Allocating and monitoring workloads across the fitter team to maximise productivity and meet performance targets
Leading by example to maintain high standards of safety service and equipment care
Implementing planned maintenance programmes to reduce downtime and repair costs
Ensuring accurate records of servicing repairs and appliance testing are maintained and compliant with legislation
Managing workshop cleanliness vehicle maintenance schedules and off-hire inspections
Coaching and developing workshop staff identifying training needs

About You

What Youll Bring

Were looking for someone with strong technical expertise and leadership skills including:
Ideally experience in a senior plant mechanic/fitter role with a relevant qualification or time-served background
Solid up-to-date knowledge of heavy plant machinery maintenance
A keen eye for detail and the ability to stay calm under pressure
Strong team management skills in a fast-paced workshop environment
A full valid driving licence
