About the job:
About the role
The candidate is responsible for developing new Japanese client relationship / expand business from our existing Global Japanese names operating in Europe including UK and Spain. The candidate needs to coordinate with Global Bankers based in Japan as well as other product partners credit and RMs in Europe.
Key Responsibilities
Develop new relationships/ expand business with Japanese companies operating in Europe by coordinating with global bankers in Japan.
Communicate with Japanese / Local managers / decision makers of the companies and sell BBVA products in Europe.
Work closely with Global Bankers team in Japan.
Execution of a Loan / Trade / Cash related products by coordinating with credit support team legal & compliance and operation.
Qualification & Experience
Degree holder in Business.
Over 15 years relevant experience of dealing with Japanese multi-national corporations.
Solid knowledge of loan / trade structuring and cash management.
Experience in Japanese mega banks or / and other major international bank.
Other Requirements
Native or equivalent in written and spoken Japanese. Desirable to have been brought up in Japan so that the candidate understands cultural background as well.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Sound interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong customer-oriented mindset.
Able to work in a matrix reporting structure multi-functional and cross-culture environment.
Able to liaise and organize with various internal departments for identifying opportunities and closing transactions.
Able to work under pressure.
Business trip to European countries required.
