Were seeking a talented commercial real estate lawyer to fill the position of Legal Counsel Real Estate/ this pivotal role youll be the legal architect transforming cloud computing infrastructure through strategic real estate transactions and comprehensive legal support.

Key job responsibilities
- Structure draft and negotiate complex real estate agreements supporting AWSs worldwide data center portfolio
- Provide comprehensive legal counsel on transactional matters interpreting contracts with precision and strategic insight
- Manage external counsel relationships and oversee portfolio of real estate transactions
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency and legal operations
- Resolve legal challenges in commercial relationships and handle pre-litigation inquiries

About the team

- 5 years of legal experience
- Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
- Experience drafting and negotiating a variety of real estate transactional documents (i.e. leases lease amendments purchase and sale agreements easements development agreements co-ownership agreements etc.)

- Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work
- Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines
- Experience communicating clearly and concisely with leadership stakeholders and cross-functional teams

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
