Senior Associate, Deal Structuring & Execution (DS&E)

In the role ofSenior Associate you will join the Deal Structuring & Execution team thatsdoubling down oncustomer obsession and moving with speed.

Each dayyoullgoabove and beyondto:

• Analyse prepare and structure detailed Lending Submissions in conjunction with the Emerging Corporate Relationship (Coverage) Team and Specialist Banking Teams as required.
• Complete comprehensive financial and risk analysis (inclusive of modelling) due diligence and industry assessments for both new and existing customers.
• Ensure that all group exposures have been accurately assessed with support from Associate Director DS&E as required.
• Provide support to Associate Director DS&E and Emerging Corporate Relationship (Coverage) Team.
• Ensure that a commercial approach is evident to protect both clients and the Bank.
• Gather the correct and appropriate information from customers and the Relationship Team.
• Manage risk and meet all policy and compliance requirements.
• Provide ongoing leadership and mentoring to the wider DS&E Team.

Werelooking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our :

• Proven experience in business lending and deal structuring working on large/complex transactions (i.e. secured and unsecured) with a particular focus on cashflow lending.
• Strong ability to assess and manage transactions include engaging with numerous internal and external stakeholders.
• Understanding of loan and security documentation.
• Confidence in handling complex deals and delivering tailored solutions for a diversified customer base.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team and know when to speak up and escalate key issues / concerns.
• Tertiary qualification in banking and finance or any business-related discipline preferred.
