Construction Manager

The Construction Manager provides the onsite leadership coordination and direction for construction management activities. Duties include ensuring the project is on budget schedule and the design fits the requirements for the contract. May supervise field administrative staff Field/Project Engineers and/or assistant Construction Managers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage document control including RFIs submittals construction bulletins and schedules

• Read and interpret construction plans and specifications

• Review cost estimates and potential change orders (PCOs)

• Inspect roads

• Prepare daily and monthly project reports

• Participate in weekly site meetings

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering Construction Management or Architecture is required (relevant experience in place of education may be considered)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Manager is preferred
• Ability to handle multiple contractors and multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge and application of construction estimating cost project controls/scheduling documentation engineering/construction principles techniques materials applications and practices
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products and experience with project-related Construction Management systems are preferred
• Certified Construction Manager preferred

Offered rate of compensation will be based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors including education qualifications experience and geographic location. The Salary range for this position is $95000-$115000.
