This role isa hybrid ofSterilisationvendormanagement and warehouse administration activitiestosupportDeesidemanufacturing facilities.Working as the link between theWarehouse teamSupply Chain Planningteams& theGlobal Sourcing Teams.Inadditionproviding support to all local Direct/Indirectplantpurchasingactivities.Maintain compliance through all systems associated to Production and Quality and adherence to the companys policies and procedures.Embrace and driveConvaTecscore missionvaluesand priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

Experience leadingpurchasing activities inthe bothdirect & indirect(SterilisationVendors) areasto deliver the right product to the right place at the right time with proper documentation to achieve a competitive advantage in the marketplace.

Demonstrates leadership skills by taking ownership of situations and working effectively topreemptproblems.

Supporting Warehouse Managementon projects and activitiesfor continuous improvement as well as daily activities.

Assistin the development of supply chain strategies and tactics and the communication of supply chain opportunities.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.Must be comfortable with communications to all levels of management throughout diverse cultures.

Establishes priorities withinthe plant environmentand displays the ability to balance multiple projects and tasks to meet theobjectivesof supply chainand warehousemanagement.

Works effectively withthe Global Sourcing TeamsManufacturingWarehouse andSuppliers to assuretimelyissue resolution around disposition of non-conforming materials

Supportslocal aspects of supply chain raw material & indirect sourcing(SterilisationVendors)focusing on plant cost savings initiatives & the implementation ofpurchasingcontrols across the region.

Leads and/orparticipateson cross-functional multi-site teams to drive improvements. Theobjectivesof the teams are to drive cost reductions whilemaintainingacceptable levels of customer service.

Seeks out and implements opportunities with suppliers to increaseConvaTecsworking capital and reduce supply variability (e.g.VMI ConsignmentCPFR JIT Kanban)

Support Inventorycontrol and accuracy through SAP reporting and intervention.

Supervise the Warehouse Administration teamin terms of holiday and performance management as well asday-to-daysupport.

Key Requirements:

Experience in supply chain management working within a regulated manufacturing or distribution environment with similar level of complexity (customers suppliers SKUs packaging raw materials and work centers)

Proficient in the use of computer applications SAPMRPand Microsoft Office desktop suite.

Proven experience working in a cross-functional multi-siteteam basedenvironment andcan take the leadership role for a team.

Project management planning and analytical and communication skills

In depth Knowledge of supply chain concepts.

Understanding ofwarehouse managementmanufacturingand distribution.

Qualifications/Education

Educated to A level standard or with relevant experience.

MCIPScertificationis preferable

Six Sigma green belt is preferable
