Job Summary

The Centre for Online Learning & Professional Studies at St. Francis Xavier University invites applications for a Part-time Academic Instructor to teach Introduction to Socio-Cultural Anthropology in Spring 2026.

Course Number and Title: ANTH 112 - Introduction to Socio-Cultural Anthropology

Start and End Dates: February 2 - July 3 2026

Class Schedule: April 27 - June 19 2026

Delivery Mode: Online

Duties

Part-Time Academic Instructor positions involve the normal duties related to the design and teaching of a university credit course including but not limited to preparation and delivery of course content; development administration and marking of assignments tests and exams; calculation and submission of grades; and holding regular office hours.

Qualifications

Candidates should have a PhD or Masters degree with significant experience in the course area. Relevant teaching experience at the undergraduate level and experience with online teaching platforms are assets.
