Job Summary
Now Hiring: Mechanical Assembler
Position Summary: We are seeking skilled Mechanical Assemblers to join our production team. This role involves assembling components to produce highquality gages while meeting production deadlines and maintaining strict quality standards.
Schedule & Pay
- Hours: 3:30 PM 4:00 AM Monday through Thursday
- Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Role Qualifications
- Strong communication skills with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to understand and follow Method Instructions
- Proficient in using hand and small power tools (pliers screwdrivers Allen wrenches screw gun)
Primary Responsibilities
- Complete basic clerical tasks such as filling out forms and reports
- Communicate with the Assembly Technician Lead and Manager regarding work progress and order status
- Assemble components within established time standards while following procedures and specifications
- Use Method Instructions to assemble equipment accurately
- Inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met
- Take responsibility for the quality of completed work
- Crosstrain to support additional production line tasks as needed
- Perform simple calculations related to assembly work
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Wear required personal protective equipment
- Perform other duties as assigned
Essential Skills & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
- Highly organized detailoriented and comfortable working in both office and manufacturing environments
- Previous assembly or production experience preferred
