Job Summary
Registered Manager Residential Childrens Home
Location: Kent
Salary: 45000 - 55000 (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time Permanent
Are you a passionate and experienced leader in childrens residential care We are seeking a Registered Manager to oversee our newly established childrens home in Maidstone Kent.
About the Role:
As the Registered Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the home ensuring the highest standards of care for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD). The Registered Manager will lead a team of dedicated professionals ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and providing a safe nurturing environment where children can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team to provide outstanding care
- Ensure compliance with Childrens Home Regulations & Ofsted standards
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs
- Oversee safeguarding health & safety and staff training
- Manage budgets and resources effectively
- The Registered Manager will maintain strong relationships with local authorities social workers and other stakeholders
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a childrens residential setting
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and Childrens Homes (England) Regulations 2015
- Passionate about improving the lives of vulnerable children
- Ability to lead inspire and manage a team effectively
