POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Trade Compliance Annex 24 Senior Analyst to join our team. This role will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring compliance with Annex 24 and Annex 30. This role will support the import/export process assist in Responsible for maintaining automated inventory control of temporarily imported merchandise in accordance with the rules of Annexes 24 and 30. Its functions include: Inventory reconciliation ensuring that system records match physical movements and customs clearance documents. Discharges: Monitoring the use and proper release of temporary merchandise. Report generation: Preparing reports for internal and regulatory audits.
CORE FUNCTIONS
Ensure the proper preparation and filing of all necessary documentation for IMMEX program activities including customs declarations invoices and certificates of origin.
Verify that all imports and exports under the IMMEX program are processed and cleared in accordance with Mexican customs regulations.
Identify and assess compliance risks within the IMMEX program and develop corrective actions to mitigate these risks.
Continuously evaluate and improve IMMEX processes and practices to ensure they are efficient cost-effective and fully compliant with Mexican trade laws.
Identify opportunities for optimizing duty savings tax exemptions and other benefits available under the program.
Accurately classify products (MX & US) and perform regular reviews of HTS classifications to ensure accuracy.
Maintain a global parts database.
Perform thorough analysis of supplier documentation and product details to assess country of origin.
Develop and implement strategies to automate or streamline country of origin assignment processes while maintaining full compliance with trade laws
Analyze and verify product eligibility under the USMCA.
Prepare and maintain documentation for USMCA certification and reporting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper understanding and implementation of USMCA rules of origin.
Conduct post-entry audits to verify compliance of all import/export transactions
Respond to broker requests and support with review of performance against KPIs.
Create and manage the export paperwork required for shipments.
Maintain accurate and organized records of all trade compliance activities and documentation.
Assist the Senior Customs and Trade Compliance Manager in implementing best practices to drive productivity and streamline opportunities.
Work cross-functionally with global and regional teams to carry out trade compliance goals and assignments.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience
Bachelors degree in supply chain management or logistics required.
5 years of experience working with customs procedures rules of origin tariffs and international trade regulations (both Mexican and U.S.).
Strong knowledge of HTS classification and General Rules of Interpretation (GRI).
5 years of experience with USMCA and knowledge of rules of origin and qualification requirements.
Thorough understanding of import/exports regulations and compliance standards.
Working knowledge of IMMEX/PROSEC and best practices to maintain a program.
Capability to identify compliance issues and provide solutions particularly in complex trade situations
Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Comfortable with data analysis spreadsheets and managing compliance documentation.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Required Licenses
Skills Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to write speak and comprehend English as well as Spanish. Bilingual in English and Spanish is mandatory.
Ability to learn and utilize various types of software/ERP information systems.
Knowledge of organizational supply chain and systems.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Travel
Occasional travel may be required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position is subject to sedentary work; Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift carry push pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involved sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.

Visual Acuity
