This internship supports the operational backbone of that advocacy work.

Role Purpose & Success Outcomes

Purpose:
Support sector committee and advocacy activities through research documentation translation and administrative coordination ensuring timely and accurate policy inputs.

Success Outcomes:

• Government correspondence is formatted translated and delivered accurately
• Position papers are supported with reliable research and clear drafting inputs

• Whitebook content is reviewed and checked for language consistency

• Advocacy team administrative tasks are completed to agreed quality standards

Key Responsibilities

• Support the preparation formatting translation and delivery of government correspondence and legislative documents
• Assist with research drafting and translation of position papers contributing to trade issues and policy recommendations
• Support research and quality checking of Vietnamese and English content for the Whitebook
• Assist with proofreading and consistency checks across advocacy materials

• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Advocacy team

• Support coordination tasks related to sector committee activities as required

Candidate Profile

Education & Qualifications

• Required: Current undergraduate student or recent graduate in Law International Relations Economics Public Policy Business or a related field
• Nice-to-have: Coursework or academic exposure to public policy trade or regulatory affairs

Professional Experience

• Required: No full-time experience required; suitable for students or early-career candidates

• Nice-to-have:

  • Experience in research policy support administration or advocacy work

  • Exposure to NGO chamber or institutional environments

Technical Skills

• Required:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint

  • Strong written English skills

• Nice-to-have:

  • Experience supporting bilingual (EnglishVietnamese) documents
