Job Summary

Position Summary

The Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC) Internship Program includes valuable leadership and professional development training opportunities to build your network exposure to MAC and the aviation industry and high-quality work experiences that will help you grow your career.

Length: Summer -12 weeks
Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)
Start date: June 1 2026
Location: MSP International Airport Terminal 2

JOB SUMMARY
Shadow MAC Information Security staff to learn how the airport protects systems and data then work with staff to identify and execute a project that is interesting and useful. By the end of the program the intern will be better versed in IT operations at a major US airport and have implemented a durable improvement to its capabilities.

Position Description

JOB DUTIES

Learn about airport IT and information security capabilities.
Collaborate with airport staff to recommend a project that can be accomplished in the timeframe of the internship.
Plan document and manage an initiative following simplified project management practices.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program ORbe a recent graduate (within 12 months from posting date) in information technology computer science cybersecurity software development or related degree.
