Position Summary:

The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for the day-to-day and re-occurring operations administrative coordination and logistical support to the human resources department.

What you bring to the team:

  • Completion of certificate in human resources business or office administration
  • Minimum of three years of work experience in office administration
  • Broad working knowledge of administrative practices and procedures
  • Understanding of relevant employment and labour legislation
  • Strong technology skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Self-motivated self-directed with strong initiative and ability to work independently as well as an effective member of a team
  • Strong customer service focus with a desire to learn and develop as an HR professional
  • Demonstrated understanding of and discretion in working with confidential and sensitive information
