As Director Acquisitions on our Development team you will shape and lead our strategy to grow our donor-partner community and Stand Together.Your role will focus on developing the strategies systems and pathways foridentifyingand engaging philanthropists and business leaders who are aligned with StandTogethersmission and partnering with donor-facing colleagues to execute these strategies effectively.
You will build own and execute a cohesive acquisition framework:identifyingnew networks mapping opportunities designing approaches for outreach and equipping donor-facing teams and Stand Together community members to engage prospective partners. Your work will lay the foundation for sustained partner growth enabling Stand Together to magnify its impact nationwide.
How You Will Contribute
Strategy & Planning. Develop and lead a comprehensive acquisition strategy for major partners (philanthropists business leaders) aligned with Stand Togethers mission and long-term and map high-potential individuals organizations and networks not currently engaged by Stand Together. Establish clear acquisition targets milestones and success metrics including the number of new partners who join the Stand Together community and engage as a Stand Together partner growth in qualified prospects network expansion and other relevant indicators.
Network Building & Outreach Strategy. Design strategies and frameworks for expanding Stand Togethers reach into high-value networks market segments and affinity the Stand Together community by equipping staff existing partners and key stakeholders with tools messaging and plans to identify and refer prospective partners within their personal and professional strategic outreach campaigns initiatives and engagement pathways that donor-facing colleagues can execute with prospective partners.
Partnership Strategy Development. Work closely with donor-facing colleagues to shape compelling value propositions and engagement pathways tailored to different segments of prospective donor-facing teams with insights strategy segmentation materials and discovery research that enable successful outreach qualification and onboarding. Monitor and evaluate acquisition strategy performance and adapt based on learnings and results.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment. Collaborate with internal teams (communications programs operations leadership) to ensure acquisition strategies are aligned with organizational priorities and impact insights and intelligence to inform broader fundraising program design and community engagement strategies.
Leadership & Performance Management. If applicable lead and mentor acquisition/development staff or contractors applying Principle Based Management to support growth accountability and progress forecast outcomes and adjust strategies as needed to meet or exceed acquisition goals.
Significant experience(minimum 710 years) in major-gifts fundraising business development partnership acquisition or philanthropy ideally witha track recordof designing and executing strategies that fuel organizational growth.
Demonstrated ability to create scalable outreach and engagement strategies build acquisition systems and collaborate effectively with donor-facing teams.
Strong familiarity with donor segmentation prospect research campaign design or network-based partner acquisition.
Exceptional communication analytical andstrategic-thinkingskills.
Demonstrated ability to build support and drive execution of complex initiatives in a highly cross functional environment and adapt plans in a dynamic environment.
