Technical Lead (Software Development)

As a Technical Lead (Software Engineer) at Digital Loop you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering technology-driven solutions that enable our clients sustainable digital growth. Operating at the crossroads of IT architecture marketing technologies and digital innovation you will oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of complex product development and MarTech projects - from concept and design to deployment and continuous improvement.

You will be a key driver for technical alignment excellence and long-term value creation. Acting as a trusted technical advisor you will integrate strategic thinking with technological insights to guide multi-disciplinary teams.

A proactive work ethic and a can-do attitude are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

1. IT Solution Architecture & Delivery

• Strong background in software and product development

• Proven experience translating complex technical topics into clear actionable work packages for engineering teams

• Solid understanding of modern software development practices including:

  • Version control (Git)

  • CI/CD pipelines

  • API design

  • Cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP)

  • Data architecture and integration patterns

• Experience working with Agile and hybrid delivery models

• Gen AI Frameworks

• Selective hands-on involvement

2. Client Relationship & Stakeholder Management

• Act as a senior point of contact and trusted advisor for clients bridging business needs with technology capabilities.

• Support pre-sales and proposal development with strong technical and strategic input.

• Strong background in product development and delivery.

• Excellent ability to translate complex technical topics into clear work-packages to our engineers.

• Hands-on understanding of modern software development practices including version control (Git) CI/CD API design cloud-based deployment (AWS Azure GCP etc.) and data architecture.

• Proven experience overseeing cross-functional teams in Agile and hybrid environments.

• Nice to have (not required): Experience with MarTech platforms data analytics tools (e.g. GA4 Vertex BigQuery Snowflake Adobe Experience Cloud) or AI-driven solutions.

2. Leadership & Communication

• Confident and credible when engaging with executive stakeholders.

• Strong leadership in guiding technical teams toward performance collaboration and delivery excellence.

• Experienced in fast prototyping and lean product development environments.

3. Business Acumen & Ownership

• Proactive solution-oriented and comfortable navigating ambiguity.

4. Language Skills: Fluency in German (C1) and English (C1) mandatory.
