OUR POSTPARTUM UNIT
Family-centered focus
18 postpartum mother/baby rooms
Cares for medically complex and high-risk postpartum patients
OUR POSTPARTUM NURSES
Provide the highest-level of care for our patients by working with Obstetric Maternal Fetal Medicine and Pediatric/Newborn providers who are in-house and accessible around the clock.
Have access to certified lactation consultants 7-days per week.
Collaborate with dedicated perinatal social workers for care coordination as needed.
Adhere to AWHONN staffing standards.
Nurse patient ratios are assigned by acuity
Ratios can be anywhere from 1:3-1:6 (mother 1 patient Baby 1 patient).

REQUITEMENTS
Have or obtain a WA state license to practice as an RN or MSL
Graduated from an accredited school of nursing
One of more years of postpartum experience
BLS
