The Electrical and HVAC Technician is responsible for installing maintaining and repairing electrical systems and HVAC equipment across laboratory manufacturing and office spaces. This role ensures reliable operation of critical infrastructure supporting life sciences research and production while maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will be adept at troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults and working independently or as part of a team.
This position reports to the Sr. Manager Engineering and is part of the Engineering department located in Torrance CA and will be an on-site role.
In this role you will have the opportunity to:
- Perform installation troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems panels and circuits.
- Install maintain and repair HVAC systems including chillers air handlers and cleanroom environmental controls
- Execute scheduled preventive maintenance for electrical and HVAC equipment and document all maintenance activities in CMMS and ensure timely completion of work orders.
The essential requirements of the job include
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in Electrical or HVAC systems required.
- 3 years of experience in electrical and HVAC maintenance preferably in a life sciences or GMP-regulated environment.
- Strong knowledge of NEC HVAC codes and safety regulations.
Travel Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
- Must have a valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift move or carry equipment up to 30lb

The hourly range for this role is$37.00 - $45.00.This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range ofpossible compensationfor this role at the time of this posting. This range may bemodifiedin the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
We offercomprehensivepackage of benefits including paid time off medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
