Job Summary

The Software Developer in Test will be a part of the Caseware Team. Our platform that streamlines and automates many tasks that accountants auditors and tax professionals around the world perform on a daily basis supports the development of additional applications add-ins and extensions to meet the needs of these professionals globally in every industry.
What you will do:
- Design implement and maintain automated test frameworks for Casewares web-based SaaS products
- Perform and guide functional integration regression and exploratory testing
- Collaborate with development and product specialists to refine user stories acceptance criteria and testability
- Analyze requirements and technical designs to identify risk areas and critical test scenarios
- Investigate document and track defects with clear reproduction steps and impact analysis
- Improve test coverage test reliability and overall QA processes
- Mentor junior SDET team members
- Advocate for quality best practices across the engineering organization
What you will bring:
- Medior (35 years) experience in QA test automation or SDET roles
- Proven experience testing complex web applications preferably SaaS products
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a structured approach to problem-solving
- Hands-on experience in test automation using modern tools and frameworks specifically Cypress
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
- Ability to write clear maintainable and well-structured test cases and code
- Comfortable working in cross-functional international teams
- Good coordination skills being able to drive continuous QA-awareness within the team
- Good command of Dutch and English.
- Experience in domains such as audit accounting financial reporting or compliance software
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. GitHub Actions) and Atlassian products such a Jira and Confluence
- ISTQB or other QA-related certifications
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and modern web architectures
- Experience contributing to test strategy or quality transformation initiatives
