The Hilton Toronto is hiring an Events Manager to join the Events Department. Reporting to the Director of Events this existing position is responsible for maintaining high standards of service for our clients and maximizing banquet revenue of our 35000 square feet of banquet space.

What will you be doing
The key responsibilities you would own as an Events Manager are:
Create and distribute all details of bookings in the form of BEO and other reports in a timely and organized fashion to appropriate departments to facilitate efficient planning purchasing and scheduling
Provide sales support for team members at closing of potential business
Liaise with other department team members to communicate information and ensure customer satisfaction and hotel profitability
Develop individual monthly production reports and monitor results
Inspect function rooms and welcome clients to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat clientele.
Prepare and customize proposals to meeting clients needs and hotels guidelines of profitability.
Attend client set up and/or special events to ensure smooth running and introduce client to Banquets/Operations.
Track Events productivity report on a weekly basis
Analyze banquet revenues daily to ensure revenue goals are met
Conduct site inspections with clients showing rooms meeting space food and beverage and recreation facilities
Provide written and verbal communication to clients regarding the management of their account
Other duties as assigned by management

Availability: This position is located on the property of the Hilton Toronto and is not a remote position. Some coverage during the evening weekend and holidays may be required on occasion.
Salary Range: 65000 - 70000 per annum
