Commercial Operation & Administrative Intern

The opportunity

Were currently looking for a Commercial Operation Intern. Someone to join our Commercial Operations team to deliver sophisticated operation management skills. Someone with a passion for electric mobility an interest in technology and a desire to create the change we know is needed. And someone who doesnt mind the occasional bit of sustainable travel in the service of a cleaner form of electric performance.

This position is located at Polestar Automotive Korea office in Gangnam-gu Seoul. We believe in a hybrid model when it comes to remote and onsite work knowing that both in-person collaboration and individual time to focus are needed. What matters most is that people get the time and support to do what needs to be done. And to enjoy doing it of course.

The responsibilities

This position is for 6-month internship this role youll be responsible for supporting overall commercial operation tasks including HR related administration. See below for a more thorough breakdown of the various tasks and areas youll be responsible for:

Support EV subsidy application process.

Provide HR administrative support and general affair related tasks.

Monitor daily retail status and create a report.

Ensure each step of customer purchase journey to progress flawlessly.

Support commerce related customer care service.

Perform additional operations related to e-commerce purchase process.

Support regular automotive market studies.

Any other general admin related tasks.

The ideal candidate

In order to succeed in this role and at Polestar in general there are a few characteristics youll need to have. Tenacity. Flexibility. Curiosity. The ability to take the initiative to meet deadlines and requirements and to abandon ideas when theyre not feasible.

We seek a highly competent team player with solid experience from the sales planning and vehicle distribution field and with an excellent understanding of end to end supply chain. You can handle multiple tasks maintain focus and adapt easily to changing business addition youll need the following qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Business Administration Finance Supply Chain/Logistics or equivalent

Knowledge of logistics trading and accounting is preferred

Minimum 0.5-1 year experience in the automotive field or related is preferred

Detail oriented with the ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks

Strong interpersonal relations as well as effective communication negotiation and problem solving skills

Written and verbal English skills are preferred
