Responsibilities:
Conduct cutting-edge research to build the first-generation of composable-native computer systems allowing maximum elasticity and independent scaling of compute memory and IO with the vertical integration of applications parallel programming computer networks and interconnects and computer architecture.
Develop and prototype new architectural features and improvements.
Produce and present research papers at top-tier conferences and write white papers on current developments and future research directions.
Establish and maintain research partnerships with leading universities and professors
Mentor junior researchers and interns.
Requirements:
PhD in Computer Science Electrical Engineering or related field.
Strong background in Computer Interconnects Computer Architecture and High-Performance Computing (HPC) is a must.
Proven track record of publishing research papers in top-tier conferences or journals.
Creativity and the ability to think outside the box to develop innovative technologies.
Research experience and/or strong knowledge in several of the following areas:
Parallel programming models such as MPI OpenSHEM or Collectives.
Network stack architecture and systems in datacenters such as RoCE or Ultra-Ethernet or supercomputer clusters such as Infiniband Slingshot or Gemini/Aries.
Scale-up fabrics such as PCIe CXL NVLink UPI or IF.
RPC protocols and stacks such as gRPC or Thrift.
Knowledge of Deep Learning Recommenders and Generative AI hardware-software co-design or cloud computing is a plus.
Excellent intercultural communication coordination presentation and reporting skills with the ability to work effectively in a research environment.
Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative spirit and the ability to work independently.
