Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Metal Polisher to join our metal fabrication team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience polishing and finishing metal components to a high-quality standard. This role requires attention to detail consistency and prior experience working in a metal fabrication setting.

Key Responsibilities

Polish buff and finish metal components to required surface quality and specifications
Work with various metals commonly used in fabrication (e.g. stainless steel aluminum mild steel)
Operate polishing grinding and finishing tools and equipment safely
Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
Remove scratches weld marks and surface imperfections
Maintain tools equipment and a clean safe work area
Follow production schedules drawings and work instructions
Adhere to all workplace safety and quality procedures

Requirements

Minimum 4 years of experience as a Metal Polisher in a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment
Proven ability to achieve high-quality surface finishes
Experience using polishing wheels grinders buffers and related equipment
Strong attention to detail and quality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must provide references from previous employer(s)

Nice to Have

Experience with architectural metal custom fabrication or decorative finishes
Knowledge of different polishing compounds and finishing techniques
Familiarity with shop drawings and fabrication processes
