The Vulnerability Assessment / Penetration Testing Specialist role involves designing and executing penetration testing methodologies to identify and validate vulnerabilities within internal and external systems web applications databases and cloud environments. The specialist will conduct controlled exploitation provide detailed technical findings and offer remediation guidance.

Location:Washington District of Columbia United States
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute penetration testing methodologies.
- Perform internal and external penetration testing.
- Conduct web application testing.
- Execute database exploitation testing.
- Perform cloud security testing.
- Conduct controlled exploitation with prior authorization.
- Validate exploitability and business impact.
- Provide detailed technical findings and remediation guidance.
- Design and execute penetration testing methodologies.
- Perform internal and external penetration testing.
- Conduct web application testing.
- Execute database exploitation testing.
- Perform cloud security testing.
- Conduct controlled exploitation with prior authorization.
- Validate exploitability and business impact.
- Provide detailed technical findings and remediation guidance.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Minimum 3 years performing vulnerability assessments or penetration testing.
- Penetration testing and adversary simulation.
- Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 PTES NIST SP 800-115.
- Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework.
- Secure onsite testing execution.
- OSCP GPEN GWAPT or CEH (one or more).
- Minimum 3 years performing vulnerability assessments or penetration testing.
- Penetration testing and adversary simulation.
