Job Summary

Job Title : Project Manager (COTS Implementations SSDLC State Agency Programs PMP)

Location: Albany NY (Hybrid)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

Qualifications:

Extensive experience as a Project Manager overseeing 3 5 concurrent application development projects including Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) and in-house solutions ensuring vendors successfully deliver version upgrades installations configurations custom development incident triage and troubleshooting and testing in compliance with Secure System Development Life Cycle (SSDLC) standards.
Proven expertise in project execution and control including the creation and maintenance of project budgets schedules (using Microsoft Project) scope status reports communication plans project management plans and quality standards throughout the full project lifecycle from initiation through closeout.
Strong experience developing and managing detailed project schedules using project tracking tools such as Microsoft Project including monitoring progress and variances against baselines using Waterfall Agile and Hybrid methodologies; facilitating standard project management activities (e.g. Scrum sessions); and presenting schedule and status updates to ITS and client agency leadership.
Demonstrated ability to develop document and manage comprehensive scope documents and required project artifacts including project schedules project plans and budgets; review project deliverables; manage deliverable acceptance; and control project changes through formal change request processes.
Extensive experience in project quality management including quality planning quality assurance end-to-end system testing quality control user acceptance testing (UAT) defect and metrics management and quality governance.
Proven track record managing and leading multi-phased high-visibility IT projects for State agencies with regular reporting to executive leadership managers and project teams on project status compliance and risk particularly in environments requiring strict adherence to ethical and legal mandates and compliance investigations.
Holds an active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
