Job Summary
Job Title: Data Engineer
Location: NYC / Montreal / Alpharetta GA
Experience: 6 Years (preferred)

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to design build and optimize scalable data pipelines and analytics platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Python Snowflake and modern ELT/ETL frameworks along with exposure to Big Data Analytics Vector Databases and LLM-driven solutions. This role will support advanced analytics AI/ML use cases and next-generation data products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain robust ELT/ETL data pipelines for structured and unstructured data
- Build and optimize data models and transformations in Snowflake
- Develop scalable data processing solutions using Python
- Support Big Data Analytics platforms and large-scale data ingestion frameworks
- Integrate and manage Vector Databases to support AI/ML and LLM use cases
- Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to operationalize LLMs
- Work with Graph Databases and RDF models to enable complex relationship-based analytics
- Leverage Snowflake Cortex for AI-driven analytics and data intelligence
- Ensure data quality governance performance and security best practices
- Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Python for data engineering
- Extensive experience with Snowflake (data modeling performance tuning SQL)
- Solid understanding of ELT/ETL architectures and data pipeline design
- Experience working with Big Data technologies and analytics platforms
- Knowledge of Vector Databases (e.g. Pinecone FAISS Milvus Weaviate etc.)
- Experience integrating or supporting Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Familiarity with Graph Databases (Neo4j Amazon Neptune etc.) and RDF
- Understanding of cloud-based data platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP preferred)
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake Cortex
- Exposure to AI/ML pipelines and MLOps practices
- Knowledge of streaming platforms (Kafka Kinesis etc.)
- Experience in financial services or large enterprise environments
