INVENTORY SHUTTLE DRIVER

General Purpose:The Inventory Shuttle Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transport of inventory between Glock Inc. facilities. Operating a box truck and powered industrial equipment this role supports the movement of materials parts and components across sites located within close proximity. The driver plays a key role in maintaining inventory flow supporting manufacturing and warehouse operations and ensuring accurate documentation and handling of goods. This position requires strict adherence to safety protocols regulatory compliance and coordination with warehouse and inventory (s) Available:8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through FridaySupervisory Responsibilities:NoneDuties and Responsibilities: (other duties may be assigned):Transportation & HandlingSafely operate a box truck and powered industrial equipment to transport inventory between designated distribution and unload materials parts and finished goods using appropriate equipment and secure handling and placement of inventory during transit to prevent damage or SupportMaintain accurate records of transported goods including transfer logs delivery confirmations and inventory all documentation is completed in accordance with company procedures and regulatory with DOT regulations internal safety standards and equipment operation & CommunicationCoordinate with warehouse teams at each site to ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of delays issues or changes in schedule to the External Warehouse inventory flow by adapting to shifting priorities and urgent transport Requirements:To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The employee is required to use fingers and hands to operate powered industrial equipment and handle inventory. The employee must be able to climb into and out of a box truck multiple times per shift and operate the vehicle safely over short distances. Personal safety protective equipment is required when performing warehouse-related tasks or entering designated Environment:While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions in all seasons including sunshine rain sleet snow and varying temperatures and humidity. The employee is also exposed to filtered humidity and temperature-controlled air between 65ºF and 80ºF when working inside warehouse environments. The role requires regular movement between distribution points located within close proximity including time spent driving and working around loading docks and staging areas. The employee is regularly required to work in warehouse environments and with powered industrial equipment.
