INTERNSHIP PROGRAM ABOUT THE NORTHERN OHIO GOLF ASSOCIATION: NOGA is a nonprofit organization that serves as the regions governing body for amateur golf. Founded in 1917 NOGA is dedicated to promoting the game in Northern Ohio to all golfers serving its growing membership of 154 clubs and more than 39000 individual OF INTERNSHIP: NOGA office located in North Olmsted Ohio (a suburb of Cleveland)TERM OF INTERNSHIP: Three (3) months (start and end date are flexible)RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist NOGA staff with all aspects of amateur golf administration including: a primary focus on member services golf course rating and golfer handicapping. Interns will travel extensively throughout the region during the internship assisting in rating golf course supporting member clubs assisting individual members with handicap questions and administering USGA core functions.
