If you see yourself on a team that upholds quality work builds connections with fellow staff contractors and clients and likes to have fun then do not let a perfect opportunity pass you :Enforceand promotesafety and quality control policies among employees and subcontractorsensuring compliancewith company localand federal rules policies and proceduresServe as the primary point of contact for clients ensuring alignment on projectobjectivesand client expectationsLead the field team andcollaborates with owners superintendents area managersengineersand subcontractors to define project needsand ensures contractual specifications are andmaintaindetailed project execution plans schedules and budgets ensuring proper resource allocation and contractual requirementsEnsure strongchange management andproject controls including tracking project progressand costreporting on key performance indicators and managing project project risks byidentifyingpotential issues early developing mitigation strategies and proactively addressing challengesOversee contract administration ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and managing changes internal leadership of any cost variances risks and other activities that wouldimpactprofitability of the projectConduct regular project meetings including kick-offs progress updatesandrisk reviewsPlans inspections and obtains construction permits from local authoritiesKeeps track of material stock and ordersOrders theappropriate equipmentand manages equipmentlogisticsComplies withcompany local and federal rules policies and procedures wear required safety equipment respond to and act on safety :Minimum10years experiencein rail infrastructure projectswithat least5 years intrack management or constructionExperience onmainline and/orClass 1 railprojectsExperience on LRT or major transit infrastructure projectsis considered an assetIn-depth understanding ofrailconstruction operations and processesCollegedegree in Civil Engineering Rail Engineering Construction Management or a related fieldProven leadership problem-solving and decision-making skillsOutstandingwrittentime managementand oral communication skillswith the ability to influence and motivate teamsWilling and able to travel to various job sites including those thatrequireovernight stay and those that require short notice mobilizationProject Management Professional (PMP) certification is considered an assetAll applicants must be legally entitled to work inUSAandresidinginVancouver WA (or surrounding areas)or willingness torelocatefor the duration of the project (est. 8 months).Apply bysubmittingyour resume and cover letter thank everyone for their interest in workingwithTri Innovations; however only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
