Job Summary

The Indianapolis Star part of the USA TODAY NETWORK is seeking a college student or recent graduate with a talent for sports storytelling to join our award-winning staff for an exciting and demanding summer fellow will work 40 hours per week starting with coverage of the Indy 500 in early May. Night and weekend shifts will be are looking for someone who is highly driven and eager to generate story should I apply for this journalism programYoull be a member of our newsroom work hard and gain valuable journalism experience as part of the prestigious Pulliam Journalism get paid too. Fellows earn $720/week ($18/hr) for the 10-week summer I qualified for this journalism programRecent graduates and college juniors seniors and graduate students enrolled in a journalism or related degree program as of Nov. 1 2025 are in a previous newspaper journalism internship and/or at a college newspaper is need to be committed to a career in news journalism. You must have reliable transportation and arrange for your own housing.
