We have an exciting role on offer within our Environmental Services as a Bereavement Services Manager.
We are seeking a compassionate and strategic leader to manage Middlesbroughs Bereavement Services including the Crematorium and Cemeteries. This is a unique opportunity to lead a service that provides vital support to families during times of loss ensuring dignity respect and compliance at every stage.
To be successful in this role you need a ICCM / APSE Certificates in Cemetery or Crematorium Management qualification obtained Management Degree or Equivalent professional qualification (NVQ level 5 or above CIPD) and Recent evidence of Personal Development related to Bereavement Services Work.
As Bereavement Services Manager you will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight shaping long-term service strategies and driving continuous improvement. You will ensure the delivery of high-quality legally compliant services manage financial and contractual performance and lead a dedicated team with empathy and professionalism.
Please note this is a fixed term post due to end on 02.04.2028.
