Class 5 Driver and Yard/ Warehouse Supportis directly responsible for the pickup and delivery of loads by operating the 1- or 3-ton truck.

Class 5 Driver and Yard/ Warehouse Supportwill be responsible for:

• Performing adaily pre-trip inspections of trucks forklifts and other equipment including electronic inspection reports.
• Following written and verbal instructions from the Shipping Supervisor for deliveries and pickups
• Load and unload trucks vehicles and equipmentby hand when requiredensuring all loads are properly secured and compliant with safety and legal standards.
• Pick stage and prepare orders for projects and customers according to sales orders.
• Receive stock rotate and organize incoming inventory in the yard and warehouse.
• Tag and label products with relevant details (e.g. Sales Order # Purchase Order # customer reference).
• Assist with and/or complete cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Maintain a clean organized and safe yard warehouse and storage areas.
• Verify load counts against paperwork and complete all required documentation submitting it promptly after runs.
• Provide customer service to vendors customers and delivery contacts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Class 5 Driver and Yard/ Warehouse Supportwill have:

• A valid Class 5 Manitoba Drivers License
• Clean drivers abstract
• Forklift licensed or experience to operate a truck mounted forklift.
• Basic knowledge of routine maintenance (e.g. checking oil gauges fluid levels & tire pressure)
• Lift and carry up to 50lbs for an extended period.
• A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
• Attention to detail reliability and a commitment to workplace safety.
