Role description:

The RoDARs Intake Supervisor will lead a team of RoDARS Intake Supervisor responsible for supporting the Citys RoDARs review process. The Supervisor oversees daily workload provides technical guidance ensures quality and timeliness of submissions and acts as the primary liaison with the Citys Congestion Management Operations team.

This role is ideal for experienced technologists diploma holders or engineers with strong communication drawing interpretation skills and experience guiding technical teams.

Role accountabilities:

  • Lead a team of four RoDARS Intake Coordinators providing day-to-day direction and support.
  • Distribute workload and monitor progress to ensure timely processing of submissions.
  • Provide coaching feedback and technical mentorship.
  • Conduct higherlevel review of TMPs and RoDARS entries.
  • Oversee updates on Traffic Impact Summary (TIS) to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
  • Support the Citys QA/QC process and help implement corrective actions or improvements.
  • Act as the main point of contact with the Citys Congestion Management Operations team for RoDARs Intake Coordination processes.
  • Participate in weekly coordination and QA/QC meetings.
  • Ensure clear and timely communication of issues escalations and status updates.
  • Coordinate onboarding and training for new Intake Coordinators.
  • Ensure staff have access to OTM Book 7 training RoDARS guidance and process documentation.
  • Work with City and other teams to maintain consistent knowledge management
  • Support resolution of complex TMP or roadway impact issues.
  • Track performance trends and recommend process improvements.
  • Assist with transition planning during the handoffs in case of change of team members.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Transportation Engineering Planning or related technical discipline.
  • Understanding traffic control layouts and basic roadway operations will be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of OTM Book 7 principles or ability to learn quickly.
  • Experience leading small teams or coordinating technical work with formal supervisory experience is an asset.
  • Strong communication documentation and stakeholdermanagement skills.
  • Experience with digital permitting systems or municipal operations is an asset.
  • Proficiency with Outlook Excel and other Microsoft tools.
  • Experience with TMP interpretation traffic coordination or utility/construction review is an asset
  • Experience working in a Traffic Operations Centre or municipal environment is an asset

The salary range for this position is $65000 to $75000. The base salary represents Arcadis hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors such as location skills experience and qualification for the role.
