Internal Job Title: Analyst Business Analysis

How Youll Make an Impact

• Report to the Agile Team Lead Analytics and Business Intelligence.
• Support the team of Analysts on initiatives in facilitating the transformation of data into analytics and supporting the presentation of findings to all levels of AMA leadership.
• Work closely with business leaders across multiple business lines to document clear project requirements based on in-depth knowledge and understanding of business strategy priorities and processes.
• Perform analysis for a wide range of requests using data from various platforms.
• Actively partner with business leaders and customers in providing advice stemming from data and process analysis taken from internal and external sources.
• Facilitate the transformation of data into critical knowledge and insights which can be used to make sound business decisions.
• Create and present concise audience-appropriate actionable communications characterized by their strategic insight.
• Provide input to the development of performance metrics reporting formats and dashboards.
• Maintain accurate and timely delivery of production deliverables.
• Maintain and verify data is within required quality standards.
  

What You Bring to the Table

• You have a degree in Computer ScienceInformation Systems Business Management or something similar.
• Have experience with Agile/Scrum Even better.
• Strong understanding of the businesses and their strategies that enables them to validate results and identify critical issues.
• You have 3 5 years of data analysis or related technical experience under your belt along with significant database querying (SQL) data analysis and visualization experience using Excel and Power BI.
• Experience with Python or Snowflake is highly desirable.
• Do you have specialized training/certification or equivalent work experience Tell us about it and why its relevant to your career as a Business Data Analyst.
