Position Summary
Research Assistant provides administrative support services for clinical research principal investigators and other members of the research team. Primary responsibilities include screening potential study patients collecting consent forms and enrolling patients for the assigned research project. Throughout the clinical trials the Research Assistant collects and enters data from research participants contacts families to follow-up on outstanding items developing and/or maintaining study documentation.
As a primary contact for all families within the communities we serve the ability to create and maintain effective relationships with patients parents and legal guardians is a must. This individual will receive daily direction from the assigned member of the Clinical Research leadership team.
Associates degree or equivalent knowledge/experience required.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word Excel PowerPoint Teams); including database and mainframe software and research measurement tools.
*Demonstrated proficiency with data entry for large detailed projects in an analytical setting.
*Ability to participate in research subject identification recruitment and enrollment under supervision.
*Active problem solving flexibility and self-motivation.

The posted salary represents a market competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in the local or national market. When determining individual pay rates we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role the skills education training credentials and experience of the candidate internal equity and organizational needs.
In addition to your salary this position may be eligible for medical dental vision retirement and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night weekend or on-call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
