Coppers Commercial team comprises functions that engage with our institutional clients to introduce new products and features provide market color model and enable financing solutions and share client feedback to inform our product development in-line with the firms growth and competitive advantage. As a team our mandate focuses on identifying opportunities to originate new business and growing a portfolio of existing accounts in partnership with cross-functional teams.

The team is charged with leading initiatives to foster innovation drive competitive commercial partnerships and implement organizational change while working with various departments to align their goals with the firms overall strategy.

Role Purpose

Were looking for a talented individual to join our Commercial team for an unforgettable 8-week internship. As one of our interns you will bring your own unique perspective as a learner together with your academic knowledge technical skills and enthusiasm and will gain a comprehensive introduction to our business.

As an intern you will rotate through several teams including Sales Relationship Management and Client Solutions while collaborating with teams across Financial Risk Client Onboarding and Legal as key stakeholders in the client lifecycle.

Our goal is for interns to come away with a unique understanding of our clients needs and the value proposition that Copper creates through outstanding client service and product addition to learning on the job Copper interns will participate in professional development sessions company social events and networking opportunities with senior leadership. Key Responsibilities of the role

Successful candidates will spend 8 weeks with the Commercial team rotating across several groups in the summer this time you will be:

• Learning from experienced professionals about institutional market structure client service and tailored products offered to Copper clients
• Supporting the Revenue teams to grow business through independent and collaborative projects which may include:

• Analyzing data for trends and opportunities
• Creating proposals and presentations for prospective clients
• Drafting market commentary
• Tracking progress for product campaign and partnership campaigns
• Proposing procedural improvements
• Producing competitor analysis

Your experience skills and knowledge

Essential

• Currently in your second year at university or a year before graduation completing a Degree Course
• Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn quickly
• Ability to break down complex information into actionable points
• Attention to detail and comfort working in fastmoving environment
• Strong analytical thinking and problemsolving ability
• Strong Research & Presentations skills

Desirable

• Knowledge of the Finance Fintech or Crypto industry
