The impact you will create:

Develop and maintain backend microservices serving one of the biggest software systems which operates in all Kaufland stores in Europe
Regularly enchnance the overall software quality and implement good practices
Creating clean well-documented maintainable code with high test coverage
Supporting our agile development team in designing creating and implementing ambitious software solutions for our internal systems in an agile way (Scrum/Kanban)

Experience and skills you will need:

Kotlin Mastery: 4 years of professional experience specifically utilizing Coroutines and reactive patterns.
Angular & TypeScript: 4 years of experience building complex SPAs (Single Page Applications) with high performance.
Reactive Backend: Hands-on experience with Vert.x or Ktor for high-concurrency systems.
Data & Messaging: Кnowledge of Couchbase (NoSQL) and Kafka for event-driven architectures.
Cloud Native: Experience with Docker Kubernetes and Helm for container orchestration.
Observability & Security: Experience with Prometheus Grafana Splunk SonarQube and Snyk.
CI/CD: Practical experience with Azure DevOps pipelines.

Soft Skills & Leadership:

Analytical Problem-Solving.
Mentorship & Influence: A desire to share knowledge and level up the junior and mid-level developers through constructive code reviews and pair programming.
Ownership & Accountability: You dont just write codeyou own the lifecycle of your features from the first line of Kotlin to the deployment in Kubernetes.
English Proficiency
Technical Writing: Ability to document architectural decisions API contracts and system designs clearly for the rest of the engineering team.
