Job Summary

For over 100 years Maguire has been an industry leader in the fabrication construction and maintenance of water storage tanks and elevated water towers. The Shop Industrial Sandblaster/Painter will have basic skills in blasting and painting. Must be able to measure and record blast profiles. This person will meet basic needs to organize and complete work steadily increasing efficiency. This person will be responsible for safety quality production standards and goals.

This shift will runFriday Saturday and Sunday; 12-hour days (6:00am-6:30pm). Work 36 hours and get paid for 40 as long as specific conditions are met!

Essential Functions:

Have a basic understanding/knowledge of what to look for and how to check for quality.
Ability to operator robotic and manual sandblasting/painting equipment.
Responsible for a clean and safe work area.
Mark material with proper identification.
Ensure material coming into and going out of work area(s) is properly identified.
Have a working understanding of our overhead hoists.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Work Environment:

Must have enough manual dexterity and stability as required for precision work.
Must be able to see details at close range.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
Must be able to traverse construction sites by climbing balancing lifting walking stooping and carrying materials.
