We are a British owned company who manufacture (mainly) toys in Asia. We are looking for someone who is based in Vietnam who has a background in manufacturing (of Toys would be a bonus) who could carry out visits to factories ensuring that they are following codes of practice throughout the process and or help with the setup and implementing of ways of working where necessary as well as carrying out product addition helping sourcing new fabrics and factories in and around Vietnam would also be required. They would be required to travel to other countries such as Cambodia and Indonesia.

Working time: Monday to Friday
Location: Vietnam with occasional travel required
Responsibilities
Factory visits across Vietnam and Asia to oversee quality control operations:
- Carrying out factory audits reviewing production processes systems and QC standards
- Ensuring factories clearly understand and comply with the companys quality control requirements Reviewing and approving bulk fabrics pre-production samples and production samples for compliance with specifications
- Reviewing test reports (fabric performance safety compliance)
- Conducting and/or overseeing in-line quality checks and final random inspections to ensure product consistency and workmanship standards Managing and developing the QC team providing ongoing training and setting inspection protocols across all stages of production
Defining and enforcing AQL standards quality checkpoints and sampling procedures
Coordinating with production teams to detect and correct defects early in the production cycle
Working closely with suppliers to ensure consistent quality standards for trims fabrics and finished goods
Investigating quality issues or customer complaints determining root causes and implementing corrective actions
Preparing and maintaining QC reports inspection records defect trend analyses and monthly performance summaries for HQ
Ensuring quality consistency across multiple production sites and managing inspection calendars to meet production deadlines
Potential for frequent travel across Asia for quality control supervision inspections and factory evaluations
Requirements
- Min 10 years of experience in QC Management from Garment/ Apparel/ Shoe/ Plush Toy industry
- Fluent English communication
- Willing to travel frequently (Vietnam and overseas)
- Good interpersonal skills logical thinking decision-making skills independent
- Good leadership problem-solving knowledge analysis and problem-solving skills
