Job Summary
Responsibilities
Operate gantry cranes to load unload and transport heavy materials and equipment.
Follow all safety protocols conduct pre-operation checks and ensure safe lifting practices.
Perform routine inspections of crane systems report defects and assist in minor maintenance.
Secure loads properly calculate weight limits and ensure balanced lifting.
Work closely with riggers signalers and supervisors to execute lifting operations.
Educational Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (mandatory).
Technical training in crane operation or mechanical systems (preferred).
Valid crane operator license/certification (as per local regulatory authority).
Safety certifications (e.g. OSHA NEBOSH or equivalent) are an advantage.
