1. Project Planning & Schedule Management
Review project budgets and deadlines with Project Managers to ensure alignment with operational and financial objectives.
Develop maintain and manage project schedules budgets and progress cost reports including forecasting and earned value analysis.
Create and adjust project budgets cash flow projections and resource plans to support field development and production projects.
Develop and manage the companys project master schedule and resource allocation plans.
2. Project Monitoring Reporting & Performance Analysis
Prepare and present monthly schedule and cost status reports to management using MS Excel MS Project Primavera and related tools including S-curves revenue recognition and contract status updates.
Monitor project progress productivity and contractor performance tracking monthly progress costs and project change orders.
Analyze project performance data to establish key performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
Compare ongoing project activities against the project management plan and performance baseline to ensure alignment.
3. Financial Control & Contract Management
Ensure all projects meet budgetary guidelines and financial performance targets.
Control work-in-progress and ensure accurate client billing for related projects.
Coordinate payments to subcontractors and vendors in line with project plans.
Develop risk mitigation strategies to minimize schedule delays cost overruns and operational disruptions.
4. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Coordination
Contribute to the selection training and oversight of project controls team members providing coaching and guidance to junior staff.
Work closely with engineering drilling facilities and project teams to ensure effective collaboration and execution.
Liaise with contractors vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
5. Governance Compliance & Continuous Improvement
Ensure all project planning and controls activities comply with BAP Energys internal policies regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives in project controls processes reporting systems and resource management.
Drive adoption of project management software and tools to enhance accuracy transparency and real-time monitoring of project performance.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in engineering Quantity Surveying Project Management or a related science field.
- Professional certifications such as: Prince2 for structured project management methodology.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) for project planning and execution expertise.
