A DAY IN THE LIFE:
As an FPGA Engineer II youll design implement and validate FPGA solutions that power safety-critical systems for space and high-reliability applications. Youll work hands-on with RTL design simulation and lab bring-up while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to integrate FPGA logic into complex system architectures. Your work will directly contribute to robust high-performance designs that meet demanding technical and mission requirements.

WHAT YOULL DO:
- Design & Implement FPGA Logic: Develop synthesizable RTL for FPGA and SoC platforms supporting sensor integration communications signal processing and control systems.
- Verify & Validate Designs: Create HDL testbenches perform simulation and support timing analysis and closure to ensure functional correctness and performance.
- Support Lab Bring-Up: Assist with FPGA bring-up debugging and validation using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with systems hardware and software engineers to align FPGA development with overall program requirements.
- Document & Present Results: Prepare technical documentation reports and presentations to communicate design status results and findings to stakeholders.
- Improve Engineering Processes: Identify and contribute to enhancements in design methodologies verification strategies and development workflows.
- Grow Technical Expertise: Engage in continuous learning and knowledge sharing to strengthen team capability and engineering excellence.
YOURE AWESOME AT:
- RTL Design & Verification: Developing and verifying complex digital designs using VHDL and/or Verilog.
- Debugging & Problem Solving: Troubleshooting FPGA designs through simulation and hands-on lab validation.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working effectively with engineers and project teams to deliver integrated system solutions.
WHAT YOULL NEED:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or a related technical field.
- 3 or moreyears of experience working with complex FPGA or ASIC designs (including internship or research experience).
- 1 or moreyears of hands-on experience with VHDL and/or Verilog for FPGA design and verification.
- Experience across one or more FPGA development phases including RTL design verification synthesis/implementation timing closure and lab validation.
- Familiarity with FPGA development tools such as Xilinx Vivado Intel Quartus or Lattice Diamond.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to technical detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing in a collaborative team-based environment.
Proficiency using simulation tools and lab equipment for debugging and validation.

The starting base salary for this position ranges from$110000 to $125000 per year depending on the candidates job-related knowledge skills and addition to a competitive base salary Innoflight offers a well-rounded compensation package that includes a Profit-Sharing Bonus and a Cash Performance Bonus to reward both individual and company performance. Additional benefits include:
