About the role
Leading independent girls school Camberwell Girls Grammar presents an opportunity for two Laboratory Technicians to join our team on a full-time or part-time (0.64FTE) basis commencing in Term 1 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to support highquality science learning in a forwardthinking school committed to academic excellence wellbeing and innovation.

Reporting into the Head of Science the Laboratory Technician plays a key role in supporting the delivery of engaging and safe science programs for students in Years 712. Working in a fastpaced collaborative environment you will:

• Prepare and maintain lab equipment and supplies
• Assist teachers with experiments and trial experiments prior to class
• Ensure the safety cleanliness compliance and risk assessment processes are followed for the laboratory
• Manage ordering stock control and maintenance of laboratory equipment and
• Complete and update risk assessments and safety documentation to ensure compliance

To be successful in this role
You are a proactive organised and detaildriven professional who enjoys working both independently and as part of a collaborative team. You communicate clearly build strong working relationships and take pride in producing highquality work that supports teachers and enhances the student learning experience.

You will have:

• Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques or higher
• Experience in laboratory environments school experience highly regarded
• Strong understanding of laboratory processes equipment and safety procedures
• Chemistry experience preferred
• Experience with Risk Assessment Software and Experience with PASCO Scientific Sensors (desirable)
• Current Working with Children Check
• Current Criminal Record Check
