Job Summary
Parts Counter Sales Forklift Dealership
If you are a friendly detail-oriented person who wants to establish a new career with a solid and established company join the Wiese USA team today! We are looking for someone to work in the parts department of our local material handling equipment dealership. You will purchase store inventory and issue spare parts for industrial equipment.
In this role you will provide a full range of replacement forklift and other industrial equipment parts to both external customers as well as our companys Service Technicians. You must be highly detail oriented and have a proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Since you will be providing customer service in your role as a Parts Analyst it is also important that you have a positive upbeat attitude and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
As a team member of Wiese you will be responsible for promoting our vision cultural values and safety guidelines while supporting all that has made Wiese a leader in the material handling equipment and service industry. You will make it a priority to ensure that you and your team members go home healthy every day.
Your specific duties will include:
- Sourcing and purchasing parts (sourcing without VINs)
- Consulting with customers in both a sales and advisory capacity and providing them with all needed parts
- Ensuring that all parts are fully stocked
- Keeping Service Technicians supplied with all necessary parts
- Conducting regular inventory counts
- Assuming responsibility for all duties related to shipping and receiving of parts
- Performing record management on a regular basis
- Handling all returns and warranty issues
Qualifications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend crouch and twist
- Experience in inventory management strongly preferred 1-2 years related experience (construction equipment dealership farm equipment dealership etc.) strongly preferred
- Mechanical aptitude/background preferred
