The Neurodiagnostic Technologist I performs procedures according to facility policy and procedures. The Neurodiagnostic Technologist I can perform test set up electrode application and maintain patient safety during clinically significant events and other related duties. Communication skills are essential for this position.

Job Responsibilities (essential functions)

Applies electrodes in accordance with the ACNS guidelines.

Performs prescribed testing.

Reviews patients history and educates patient about procedure.

Monitors and documents patients condition and responds to and reports and adverse reactions.

Identifies and corrects for artifacts.

Edits and forwards results to attending physician for analysis and interpretation.

On call requirement per department policy

Job Requirements

In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day qualified candidates will need the following:

  • High School Diploma/G.E.D. required
  • Associate Degree; Enrollment in or graduation from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Neurodiagnostic Program preferred
  • 6 months experience working in patient care environment required
  • Basic Life Support from American Heart Association Required

Work Schedule & Locations:
MondayFriday 8:30 a.m.5:00 p.m. This is an on-site multi-location role.

  • Monday: Jordan Valley Hospital West Jordan

  • Tuesday: Mountain Point Lehi

  • Wednesday: Salt Lake City (1100 E)

  • Thursday: Mountain Point Lehi

  • Friday:

    • 1st3rd Fridays: Mountain Point Lehi

    • 4th Friday: West Valley City (Pioneer Pkwy)
