We work to build stronger communities deliver critical programs and services and raise funds to provide these services. This is an important role in ensuring that Red Cross can build connected sharing and resilient opportunityAdministrative Support volunteers play a pivotal role in the Australian Red Cross. The Community Mobilisation Team works directly with the community to recruit new volunteers and members and recognise and reward our existing volunteers and make sure we are always reaching the community our volunteers and our members where they are this is a varied role that could include:General administrative supportRecognising the valued contributions members and volunteers by administrating the provision service milestones and organising thank-you eventsHelping to organise and facilitate community events like BBQs and community forumsHelping to provide a welcoming space for members of the community to share their time resources and passions with usAs a member of a small team you will need good organisational skills well developed computer skills and great verbal and written communication Mobilisation Volunteers will gain valuable skills and experiences in administration and building community capacity and supporting volunteers to improve the world and build the Cross will ensure you have training ongoing support and access to other opportunities within the worlds largest humanitarian impactAs a volunteer you will help support the work of our members and volunteers across Victoria empowering them to take action locally and be the face of Red Cross in your will have the opportunity to learn from many peoples diverse history and knowledge as well as feeling the satisfaction of giving back to the requirementsFor this role you will be required to undertake a National Police Check which will be organised through the Red role will also require you to hold or apply for a Working With Children Check.
