Job Summary

General Purpose:Supports the manufacture of Slides and Barrels by performing a variety of tasks related to machine operation including manual and CNC (s) Available:1st shift (6:00 AM to 2:00 PM) Monday through Friday2nd shift (2:00 PM to 10:00 PM) Monday through FridaySupervisory Responsibilities:NoneDuties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):Responsible for the daily production of slides and barrels following the standard operating procedures (working instructions) to achieve GLOCK quality and production hand-tools such as files and de-burring tools to achieve set quality inspections making visual checks to assure compliance with specifications; examines parts for surface defects and quality control using custom measuring equipment such as calipers gauges reports errors in production and performance to Manufacturing Supervisor / Area Technical LeadOperates manual and semiautomatic metal cutting equipment such as milling machines lathes saw etc. Can understand and follows the standard operating procedures including inspections and other work station by cleaning equipment and work area with appropriate a high level of safety and cleanliness in the manufacturing areaQualifications/Job Requirements:To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
