Build strong business relationships with prospective customers and manage the sales funnel/cycle by continually following up on their current business needs and anticipating future business and confidently present sales proposals including pricing and product/service terms to key decision makers. Influence negotiate and close the sale with the best interest of the company and the customer in with and engage the Regional Leadership Team to ensure the needs of the customer can be and will be regularly and prepare reports on key performance indicators and communication on sales progress within the sales funnel/cycle and achievements. Intimately know customer base and area activity and utilize information and data to capitalize on sales opportunities and recommend sales any issues as they arise and involves subject matter experts and key decision makers as needed to remove the account from prospecting through to ongoing account and represent Superior Plus Propane positively and professionally within the community and industry to all customers competitors and industry you bring:3 years of consultative sales experience in commercial sales environment within vertical industries (propane or oil construction manufacturing service-related industries).Strong focus on new business developmentExceptional customer service skills and relationship management skillsExcellent written verbal and presentation skillsBusiness acumen financial and analytical skillsStrong leadership skillsSuperior organization and time management skillsProblem solving skillsComputer skills (Windows MS Office Salesforce an asset)Knowledge of the propane industry and/or oil & gas industry an assetValid Drivers License and access to vehicle with ability to travel regularly within Western MA and Northern CTAbility to travel for 2-3 nights per monthLegal Authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job expected annual base salary range for this role is $ a year. This position is also eligible for a monthly commission plan with a bridge build-up period.
