Job Description:

Background
The Fluid and Hydromechanical team plays a key role in providing solutions through development of Aircraft Environmental Control System (ECS) & analyzing its performance. The team extends competencies in the area of Air Thermal & Flow analysis System Simulations. The job holder needs to support the new technologies development & analysis.

Responsibilities
The job holder will be responsible for ECS (Environment Control System) system simulations. He / She will also be responsible for providing insights of the simulation analysis to the designers community. Internal flows activities mainly deals with Ventilation of various A/C bays Cooling technologies transport of various species etc.


Key activities
Design and develop various models pertaining to the ECS Systems simulations perimeter.
Support verification and validation of systems based on the system architecture through simulation tasks.
Drive simulation topics on system level to investigate performance behavior

Contribution towards research for Next Generation Environment Control System

Technical skills required:
Good knowledge in 1-D System Simulation tools & languages
(Dymola MATLAB Python)
Understanding of the version control - Git SVN etc.
Strong fundamentals on Thermodynamic and understanding of its applications
Profound understanding of Fluid Dynamics Heat Transfer Material properties Refrigerants and Cooling Systems
Experience in numerical modelling 1D analysis methods and tools.
Basics of Mathematical Modelling and optimization techniques
Understanding of the Agile framework

A degree in Mechanical/Aerospace engineering science or equivalent combined with 5 years of professional experience in HVAC systems and/or related
components in the Aerospace Automotive sector or other relevant domains.
A proactive and highly motivated mindset able to work with diverse teams
Works autonomously and deliver on complex assignments
Strong communication interpersonal skills
Knowledge of English language at a negotiating level; additional language skills in French/German/Spanish are considered a plus
